Obituary for Stephen Patrick McPherson

Stephen Patrick McPherson, 62, passed away at home peacefully on July 25, 2020. 

Stephen was born in Pensacola, Florida, to parents James and Anita McPherson. After living all over the east coast as a Navy brat, he settled in Chesapeake, Virginia.  

In 1984, Stephen started to work at his family swimming pool business. He began at All American Swimming Pools which then grew to become Aqua Leisure Pools, with five locations in the Hampton Roads area. He loved fishing, boating and enjoyed hanging out with family and friends.     

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 40 Years, Michelle; daughter, Stephanie (Pavel) Tolmachevskiy; and his mother, Anita McPherson. Siblings; Tony (Eddie) Berman, Scott (Cindy) McPherson, Byron (Sabina) McPherson; his mother-in-law, Alice Babb; a granddaughter, Bailey Connor and many friends. He was predeceased by his loving son Christopher Stephen McPherson.     

A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 30th at 11:00 AM at Oman Funeral Home and Crematory, 653 Cedar Rd. in Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association at
