CHESAPEAKE

Stella A. Chivers, 72, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.

Born March 7, 1940 in Steubenville, Ohio, she was a former member of Mingo Junction, Ohio. She will be remembered for her life membership with the VFW Post 4809 Ladies Auxiliary.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years, Donald D. Chivers; her four sons, Tony Chivers and wife, Renee, Randall Chivers and wife, Angie, John Chivers and wife Cindy and Daniel Chivers; her seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She also leaves her sister, Carmalla Myers of Chesapeake; her brother John Tiziani of Amsterdam, Ohio; her two sisters-in-law, Sandy Corrigan and Ann Butera both of Mingo Junction, Ohio as well as her several nieces and nephews.

At Stella’s request the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
