O man Funeral Home & Crematory was started in August of 1985 by Bob and Sid Oman. The father and son team purchased their original funeral home located in Great Bridge from the Gay family, who had orginally built the funeral home. 

In 2003, the Omans purchased Francis A. Gay Funeral Home which is located in the South Norfolk section of Chesapeake.  This was their second purchase of a funeral home from the Gay family.

Years later we continue on with the traditions and values that have contributed to our success from the beginning.
